Tom is the technical director at Torchbox, the UK-based agency he co-founded in 2000. An enthusiastic proponent of Django since version 0.9.6, he made its first screencast and hired Django luminaries including Simon Willison and Andrew Godwin. At Torchbox he's overseen many large Django-based projects for a mainly non-profit client base, including WWF, the United Nations and the UK government. Most recently, he's led the development of Wagtail, the open source Django CMS which has quickly gathered many high profile fans.

In his spare time, Tom plays the mandolin and rides his bike around the Oxfordshire countryside. He wrote the theme tune to Charlie and Lola.
