Registration for the workshop will open in July, and application details will be posted on our website on July 1. See djangogirls.org/djangoconus for more information.

Django Girls will be at DjangoCon US! This non-profit workshop for women will take place on September 10, 2015 on the first day of the DjangoCon US Sprints, and will be attended by 40 women who want to learn how to build web applications. We will provide food and goodies at our trans-inclusive event.

This is a free, one-day programming workshop in Austin for absolute beginners, even those with no prior programming experience! We welcome all who want to learn the basics of programming and building websites to apply. The goal of the event is to demystify computers, explain the magic behind the internet and inspire women to dig deeper into the amazing world of technology by giving them the tools to make their dreams a reality.

We’re looking for coaches and mentors to volunteer for this workshop, as well as sponsors. As a coach, you’ll help 3 women work their way through tutorial. Sponsorship will enable us to give our attendees passes to the rest of the conference, as well as goodies to make their first experience with code a great one. Additional information is available on the workshop website.

Registration for the workshop will open in July, and application details will be posted on our website on July 1. For more information, please contact Lacey Williams Henschel and Barbara Shaurette at [email protected]
