Mobility
The conference venue, the AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center, is wheelchair accessible throughout, including:
- step-free access to all parts of the conference
- elevators that are open and unlocked 24 hours a day
- accessible, clearly labeled restrooms
- service animals welcome, with grassy areas near the hotel to walk them
The main hotel entrance has an automatic door opener, but doors to the courtyard and from the parking garage do not have automatic door openers.
You can reach the conference venue by a bus that stops directly in front of the building. The Capitol Metro Trip Planner can help you find the right bus from your hotel to the venue. All buses in Austin:
- "kneel" for easier boarding and are equipped with lifts or low-floor ramps
- accommodate your service animal
- accommodate your request to board or exit along a route other than a bus stop.
You can apply for a reduced fare card if you have a disability, are over 65, or are on Medicare.
Low Vision or Hard of Hearing
Preferred seating will be provided for attendees who request it. Please contact us about any lighting requirements you may have, and we will do our best to meet them.
All buses in Austin announce stops verbally in English and Spanish. Most buses have a visual display of upcoming stops.
Dietary requirements
We aim to meet all dietary requirements. You will be able to specify these when purchasing your ticket.
Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are clearly marked and easy to find.
The venue does not have gender-neutral or family restrooms available. Use the restroom for the gender with which you identify.
Quiet room
We will have a clearly marked quiet/lactation room available. This room is intended to be a calm and quiet place for anyone who needs to have a break from the bustle of the conference, and will not be used for socializing.
Sprint venue
We are still working on confirming accessibility at the sprint venue.
